step by step

hope everyone enjoyed watching the video as much as i enjoyed taping it and sharing it. conley had to go back on the bubble CPAP today, which is okay. kind of discouraged that he could just stay on the nasal cannula oxygen, but that's because i'm a sprinter, not a marathon runner. it's actually very normal for kids his size and age to go back and forth. they'll be trying to set him up on a schedule of time on the bubble CPAP and time just on the nasal cannula so he can slowly work his way toward lung maturation. please pray that goes well, and that he keeps moving in that direction and doesn't ever go back on the ventilator. also please pray he doesn't get a sore and infected nose or get sick in any other way. thanks so much. one day at a time.

Thank you so much for blessing us with updates, pictures, and tear jerking videos. Ethan sits right beside me as I read the updates and he enjoys hearing all about Mr.Conley and the rest of the Monroe clan.

You all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. We'll be praying specifically against infection and that his lungs continue to mature and of course for continue patience for you and Beth. We love you all so much. God be with you our friends.
Psalm 121
A song of ascents.
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;

8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
