baby brother

so lots of developments to update y'all on. conley is doing really well. he's now on a regular nasal cannula and bouncing between the lowest to the second to lowest setting on pressure. after he weans down on that, he'll wean on probably one more setting and i think that will be it for help breathing. he's weighing in at 3lbs. 7oz. and looking great. he was held by his auntie dorie this week, among a few others.
RSV (Respiratory something Virus) season is over and so siblings who are in good health are allowed into the NICU (i'm just thankful that parents not necessarily in good mental health have been allowed in for some time now... ahem). the first thing malachi said was "conley, baby brother."

also, thanks for all your prayers, conley's neighbor (whose name is joey) is doing better. his mom and dad were super happy to hear so many people are praying for him. he's off the hi-frequency ventilator and moving in the right direction. please keep him in your prayers. well, we can't be more grateful for how far we made it as of now. our family has come together, finally, even for a moment. one day at a time.

-love-

PRAISE GOD-we were concerned when you hadn't blogged for awhile!! I like to update our church every wk. and had none no report this morning. :( Today, was a special prayer service for healing and Conley's name was already on the list when we got there. A young Daddy that just had a new son in April prayed for you little man and it was a wonderful prayer. I was blessed. Y'all are being remember in the south. God is so good to us His kids. I am very thankful for His care of your family. Keep leaning on Him...one day at a time. Love, Jan

Great Memiere and I went on Sunday, and she was so happy to see him doing so well. He opened his eyes for us, and was very content. Dorie, you have been so patiently awaiting the time for your turn to come. I am so happy for you.

The family pic warms my heart, and is on my desktop for ALL to see.

God is soooo good. ALL THE TIME.
